I have finally come to grips with the fact that I have a 9 month old baby who is into everything and growing/changing faster than I am willing to admit. Windows are a new fav.

We visited our buddy Dr. P on Monday and what wonderful news he had for us! Paxtin is growing like a weed-weight is at 18lbs 4oz-a
smidge under the average percentile, but he said that this is normal for this age range. (Definitely due to the SIX teeth she is sprouting.) Her height was 29in. and head growth was right on track. I think, however, the best news was Paxi's green light for introduction to protein (MEAT!) and finger foods (CHEERIOS!). Anything that she can pick up, is fair game. (Dog food is still a daily quest...). But I was so excited, I hightailed it to the store for several variations of chicken and some fun Gerber Graduate finger foods. (Note to my mommy friends: YOGURT MELTS HAVE SUGAR.) Her pincer grasp is dead on and she is so fun to watch at dinner time. Although more ends up on her clothes, she enjoys getting to feed herself. I want to get a video of this...stay tuned.
As for the crawling, Pax is into
everything. I now have to get down on the floor and check for things that might catch her attention. She is attempting to pull up on various objects and I am waiting for the morning (or middle of the night) when I find her standing in her crib. = 0
Lots of changes going on in our lives...
Daddy has decided to get a second job and will be gone for most of the day Tues. through Sat. I was hesitant to o.k. this venture, but I think it will be a blessing for our family. He is still in project mode...finishing up on our tile floors. We spend a lot of time at LOWE'S.

Daddy is also shopping for me a new car and I am so excited. Hopefully good news coming soon there.
I also started Pax on a trial 'new schedule' today. I am trying to transition her into one long afternoon nap a day. She is accustomed to 2 naps, one in the morning and one in the late afternoon. I have decided that we can move her bedtime back to 8:00...thus, she sleeps later in the morning...and doesn't need a morning nap. This is all temporary right now and tonight she was EXHAUSTED from only one nap, which was only about an hour. I hope we get something nailed down soon. I hate the changing of the schedule!
Finally, here is sweet P today in her 'green.' The Dr. noticed that her gums were
very swollen and I got to feeling around. SIX TEETH. Two top & four bottom. So, her mood..to say the least, has been a bit dismal.

She is such a goob.
I have two video posts in the works. One of pattycake and the other is finger food eating.
