Pumpkin Patch 2011

This past weekend, we drove about an hour away and visited a super fun pumpkin patch. We went to this same patch when Pax was about 18 months and LOVED it. We missed going there last year, due to scheduling conflicts...so, we were happy to be able to go back to this patch. It's a really fun one!

My parents and brother also tagged along on the adventure, which Pax of course LOVED. Any extra time she can get with Nan & Pop is always a special treat. :)

This pumpkin patch is our favorite because along with LOTS of pumpkins to choose from, they also have neat activities for the kids. We visited the petting zoo, let Pax ride the sweet little ponies, and take some cute pictures in the cut-outs.

The highlight of the day was definitely the hay ride down to the Arkansas River...it was BEAUTIFUL. We all enjoyed the ride so much. I cherish these family memories we make!!

LOTS of catching up to do...

OK...I'm back to being a slack blogger. :( I apologize. I am now out a computer...again and just had a lack in interest in blogging, honestly. But, I'm back and have lots of fun things to share.

Pax has been very busy with school and dance. She's loving both so much and I'm so happy. 2 weeks ago, her school held their annual TRIKE DERBY and it was a huge success. Pax had a blast (after a little moment of spazzing). HA! I posted some pics below...I took a TON, but I will spare you. ; )

Thursday, Pax and her class got to go to the pumpkin patch held at her school. All the proceeds go to help the children's ministry at our church, so it's an awesome fund raiser. I didn't get any pics of her out in the patch (I was with my pre-k kids), but we snapped a quick picture when we got home. :) Don't you LOVE her dress?? We love TOO CUTE CREATIONS.

Last weekend we ventured up to Cody's home town and celebrated my bday with his family. It was a great time and was so fun to finally share our good news with everyone...

WE'RE EXPECTING!!!

I'm SO excited to finally be able to type that. :) After a year of trying, I was starting to get discouraged. But the Lord had a plan for us and we are beyond thrilled. I am due in June again with this baby and it happens to be on Paxtin's birthday...talk about a busy month!! We'll take what we get and we're just looking forward to having another baby around the house. I've forgotten how sweet they are...I can't wait!!! =)

I promise to try and update more often...we are going to the BIG pumpkin patch this weekend, so I will post all those fun pictures!!
