We started out the fun with a dinner meeting with Cody's grandpa, Dad, and Bambi. We all met in Alma, which is halfway for each of us. They hadn't seen Pax in quite some time and were dying to see how she had grown.
Pax always goes right to Bambi. They are great friends.

We had a great meal and it was nice to see them. We will be traveling up to Siloam to see them again for Paxtin's birthday celebration #3 in a few weeks.
So, summer has hit. And in a BIG way. It has been in the 90's the past few days and going outside has become harder and harder. We have to wait until later in the evening or go out pretty early to try and stay cool.
Mondays are Daddy's day off, so we brought him along with us to the park this morning.

We had to try out all the equipment.
Even the new slides they just built! They were in the direct sunlight and hot has Hades, so Cody went down with Pax. (What a dad.) Her face is priceless.
It was good to get outside and do some fun playing and goofing off. We have so many scheduled activities coming up. I'm not sure that we will be getting back to the park again anytime soon.
I am currently working on Paxtin's birthday. Getting everything ready! We aren't sending invites, as it will just be a small family party. Nothing big. I am excited and very sad all at the same time for this day to come.
